How I Became an Author
When someone writes and publishes a document, they are considered an author. I never aspired to be a writer, but I have always loved making notes about positive things that interest me. I simply want to share my thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and point of view, especially in relation to family, counseling, and education.
I acquired the desire to become an author when I became a member of the California Association for Counseling and Development (CACD). Through my interactions with mentors—professional leaders, educators, counselors, and journalists—I developed a passion for writing and sharing my work with the world.
My first publication was an article in the CACD Journal many years ago. Since then, I have written numerous articles and books on topics related to family, counseling, and education. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my work with others and hope that it will make a positive impact on their lives.
